Best Robot Vacuum Cleaner and Mop
Robotic vacuum cleaners and mops are the best method of quickly cleaning up messes. The best robot vacs and mops in my tests have top-notch mapping and navigation as well as the ability to remove Cheerios, tangled wires and fake dog turds with out leaving them behind.
You can also schedule cleaning chores through an app and monitor their progress.

1. Roborock S8 MaxV Ultra
The Roborock S8 MaxV is the best robot mop and vacuum. It comes with the most recent features. This premium vacuum is quick and agile, and it picked up pet hair and human dander almost flawlessly in our Debris Pickup Test. It has a sleek app interface that includes a mini-map of your home as well as buttons on the screen for manual control.
The S8's Dirt Detection Technology allows it to alter the cleaning mode in accordance with the level of dirt. It will clean its mopping pads more frequently when it comes across dust. Carpeted areas get priority for mopping using mopping pads that are damp.
It's got a host of other smart features also, including an alternative dock that connects to your plumbing to wash and clean the mop without requiring you to refill it manually. With the built-in voice assistant in the S8 it is possible to use voice commands to specify rooms cleaning options and precise control with just your voice.
2. Yeedi Cube
If you're looking to buy a hands-free robot vacuum that can mop the Yeedi Cube is one of the more flexible alternatives. It's among the many combination robot vacuums that have mopping capabilities that are offered at a lower price than competitors.
Like most robot vacuums, the Yeedi Cube also requires some work to get it up and running. This involves establishing an app account and connecting the device to your WiFi network. After this, the robot will begin vacuuming and mopping easily.
It's important to keep in mind that the mapping process may take some time, and the Yeedi Cube may need a couple of attempts before it can get a good picture of your living space. The object detection is also hit-and-miss. It was able skirt around furniture and other obstacles but got stuck on a rug with tassels, and had to flip over to release itself. These are minor issues and the Yeedi Cube remains a great choice for those who need an all-purpose cleaning tool that can do it all.
3. Ecovacs Deebot X2 Combo Complete
The Ecovacs Deebot X2 Combo Complete offers a three-in-1 home cleaning solution. Its innovative mopping feature an inclination that is similar to hand scrubbing which results in floors that are truly cleaned, not just cleaned. The vacuum stick that can be detached is an absolute game changer that can reach areas where a robot vacuum cannot.
This model is nearly identical to the popular X2 Omni but with a slightly increased suction power of 8,700Pa as well as a few additional smart features. The RGBD sensor upgrade can learn your home's surroundings and provide dynamic obstacles avoidance. auto vacuum lets you customize the settings of your choice that include scheduling, AI cleanings, and setting virtual boundaries.
The X2 Combo also has self-preparation. Both the robot vacuum and mop return to their charging base at the end of each task to clean their pads and empty the dust bins, and place debris in the self-sealing bag. This helps to keep the system tidy and stops allergens from circulating. Its battery life is sufficient to clean large areas without requiring an additional charge during cleaning.
4. Eufy S1 Pro
As one of the premium robot vacuum and mop models that we have reviewed, the Eufy S1 Pro offers impressive features for the price. It comes with a powerful 8,000 Pa suction power and a rotating brush that is ideal for carpets and hard floors and a great obstacle avoidance. It also has an unique mopping method that uses a roller constantly spraying with water to collect dirt and then deposit it into the dirty water tank.
Its navigation technology performed well in navigating close to walls without falling and staying clear of stairs. It struggled with fine debris and didn't always clear the raised thresholds in rooms. The operating noise level is also relatively high, which suggests it could be less of a set-and-forget model than others.
Like many robotic vacuums and mop cleaners, the S1 Pro comes with a docking station that allows you to refill its clean water and empty its dust bin and mop pad, and wash and dry its mop. This makes maintenance easy and helps the S1 Pro to spend more time cleaning floors on an ongoing basis. You can manage all of its functions through the Eufy app. It provides an overview of the system and plenty of configurability.
5. Freo X Ultra
The Freo X Ultra is one of the best robot mowers and vacuums available, and it provides amazing mixed vacuuming and mopping performance. The LIDAR sensors for mapping can identify furniture legs, obstacles and other obstacles with a reasonable accuracy. The app lets users fine-tune the map coverage, set up no-go zones, or modify their cleaning preferences. The Freo's brush is designed to prevent hair from wrapping itself around it. This can be an issue for many robotic vacuums.
The Mop Mode is impressive too and comes with Reuleaux triangular mops that spin at 180 RPM and exert up to 12N of downward pressure. The mopping system is also equipped with intelligent carpet detection, lifting the pads up when they're near soft surfaces, preventing them from contaminating them.
The all-in-one docking station serves as a hands-free center for maintenance, automatically washing and drying the mops and refilling them with water and detergent. The base station also has integrated dust processing that compacts dust over 7 weeks of hassle-free operation unlike conventional robot vacuums that empty their dust bins each time they have to be cleaned.
6. S10
A few hundred dollars more than the S8 This robot is a slick job of keeping my office clean and can also tackle the corners of my cramped apartment. It makes use of laser mapping and a camera to build a map of your space and knows which areas to avoid. It also has a detector for objects and obstructions that can avoid things like toys and dog bowls (but not the poop) unlike most vacuums.
Other amazing features include a self-emptying dustbin, a mop that is self-washing and adjustable for water temperature and an extended side-reaching brush that is able to reach areas that other mops miss. You can also customize the settings for each room and create cleaning schedules.
It has the same multi-room smart mapping as the S8 and can distinguish between carpets and laminate with high-pile carpets. And, if you want to cut down on time, it can skip cleaning rooms that aren't soiled. It's an excellent option for those who have a variety of flooring in your home but don't want to spend the money to buy a Roborock with advanced mapping features.
7. Q5 Pro
This robot is a great option if you are looking for a versatile robot that can perform regular maintenance on a daily basis as well as touch-ups to wet messes. It offers a broad range of features like the ability to empty the dustbin on its own and the water refill dock, and customizable settings in the app. It's quite quiet and can move around furniture legs and socks effortlessly. It's not able to pick up knotted rug tassels, and its battery drains a little quicker than other models in our tests.
With a price tag of less than $250 and less than $250, the Q5 Pro is a bargain-friendly machine that packs a lot of suction and a handy automation into a slick design. It didn't score quite as well in our vacuuming and mopping tests as the much expensive Roborock S8 MaxV Ultra, but it still did extremely well overall. It also comes with a selection of cleaning options to suit your needs, from the low-power 'Quiet' option for lightweight debris to the more robust 'Turbo' mode that is ideal for rooms with carpet. It also has the capability to remove and reconnect its mop pads, without getting your carpets wet.
8. K10 Plus
The K10 Plus is an excellent robot vacuum and mop that can be used even in small spaces. It's quiet and quick and does a good job of navigating tight spots. It is also very good in removing pet hair from carpeting.
It's smaller than many of its rivals however it doesn't sacrifice features. It has a decent amount of suction power, and it is able to take a picture of every object it comes across (i.e. chew toys, or socks, etc.)) and mark them as 'not found in the app to ensure that they aren't taken up in subsequent cleanings. The photos are encrypted and are not tied to your account.
It is capable of vaccuming but isn't quite as efficient at mopping. It uses disposable wipes that are clipped onto the bot's bottom and drags them across your floor. Compare this to the Roborock S8 MaxV Ultra or Narwhal with water reservoirs and will automatically wash and attach their mophead.
